Sled Building Apprentice/ Warehouse Attendant

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR.

We are a fast-moving innovative company looking for two motivated technicians who can learn
fast and pivot frequently as our company grows and we expand production capacity and
introduce new products to the market.


Come learn to lead a team of technicians manufacturing products out of plastic with Yukon
Expedition Sleds. Our special apprenticeship program allows you to learn all skills on the job
while being paid. 

 

WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO BRINGS THE FOLLOWING TO THE TEAM

  • Great energy and out-of-a-box thinking

  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills

  • Shipping and Receiving / Logistic work experience is considered an asset

  • Experience in warehouse management is preferred but not required

  • Experience in Machine operation is preferred but not required

  • Hungry for excellence and success

  • Loves working with your own hands

  • Basic knowledge of mechanical work, fundamental building and/or machine inspection

  • Collaborator (There are no stupid questions – don’t be afraid to ask)


JOB REQUIREMENTS 

  • Physically capable of lifting and walking with 50 lb loads repeatedly throughout an 8-
    hour day without challenge

  • Class 5 Driver’s licence with a minimum of 2 years of clean driving experience in Canada

  • Mandatory random drug testing

  • Basic knowledge of MS Office / 365

  • Personal steel-toe boots, PPE, and gloves

  • Long hair to be tied up, no loose clothing as per Health and Safety requirements

WHAT WE OFFER
We are building a lifestyle and family-focused company. Our work schedule is 9:00 Am to 3:00 Pm with a 30 min lunch


This position starts with 2 weeks per year paid holidays.   We shut down annually 1-week at Christmas, 1-week at first week of august (best sheep hunting time), 1-week third week of September (best moose hunting time) and school holidays 


Employees will get all YES apparel at cost
